Protective Service Officers Assault Innocent Woman In Flinders Street Arrest Attempt

A young woman trying to use a public footpath was forcibly shoved into a wall by Protective Service Officers on Sunday morning. Officers maintain that she was warned several times to "step back, step back" and even went as far as threatening the Australian citizen with capsicum spray in an attempt to assert dominion over a public thoroughfare. Predictably Victorian Police have defended the reprehensible actions of the glorified security guards stating that they believe it all to be the fault of the young woman for walking down the street with the belief she has freedom of movement within Australian borders.
Amazingly a video taken by a third party shows the man PSO's were intending to arrest shows more concern for the young woman's safety than the officers. Who continued to threaten the would be suspect as attempted to see if the woman was alright.
This comes on the back of reports that an infant and a pre-school aged child were incidentally affected by the use of capsicum spray in another arrest attempt just two days earlier. Both were taken too hospital for treatment along with a third innocent bystander.
